Overview
A block is a section of your site (for example Hero, Menu, Gallery, or a Global frame). Select it in Layers or on the Preview, then edit it in Fields.
For a selected block, Fields usually offers three kinds of control:
| In Fields | What it changes |
|---|---|
| Content | Text, links, icons, and other values for that block |
| Arrangement | Layout of that block (for example columns, cards, or a board) |
| Look | Visual finish of that block |
Whole-site colors and type stay under Site → Appearance, not in a single block’s Look.
Edit Content fields
- Switch to Edit.
- Select the block in Layers or on the Preview.
- In Fields, open Content (when the panel shows that group).
- Change headings, body text, buttons, icons, or other fields for the current editing language.
- For photos, use Upload, Library, or AI Generate where the field offers them — see Media & images.
- Check Mobile, then Publish when the live site should update.
Some values are bound to Operate or Google & AI (hours, menu dishes, …). Those open the linked tool instead of a free text box — see Operate data and Local Presence.
Change Arrangement
- With the block selected, open Fields → Arrangement.
- Pick the layout that fits (options depend on the block type).
- Check Mobile — layouts can look different on a phone.
Arrangement is the layout style of one section. To change the order of sections on a page, use Layers (drag or long-press) — not Arrangement.
Change Look
- With the same block selected, open Look in Fields.
- Choose a finish.
- If Studio asks whether to match a paired Look (for example navigation after a Home hero change), choose Apply or Keep Look.
