Overview
The Utility bar is a Global frame — the thin contact strip above navigation for always-on chips such as phone, email, address, and social. One edit applies on every page.
Do not use it for a long temporary campaign message — that belongs in the Announcement bar.
Get started
- Switch to Edit.
- In Layers, open Global frames and select Utility bar.
- Choose an Arrangement, for example:
- Static — scrolls away
- Sticky — pinned on tablet & desktop (scrolls away on phone)
- Carousel — rotates items (pinned on tablet & desktop)
- Collapse — expand from teaser
- Under items, Add item — set the type (phone, email, address, social), label, and value.
- Optionally turn on Allow dismiss so guests can hide the strip for the rest of the session.
- Check Mobile — this bar is very noticeable on phones.
